1. Who we are

X-Typer ("the game") and x-typer.com are run by Safer Games Studios (Leon Jonathan Dobree Benson). Contact: support@x-shooter.com. "We" means us; "you" means the person who holds the account. By creating an account you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Your account

• You must be 18 or older to create an account — a parent, a teacher or an adult learner. Students play inside your account; you're responsible for how it is used.
• An account is for one household, or for one teacher and their own class. Please don't share your login publicly, resell access, or make extra accounts to get more free months.
• Keep your password private and give us a real email address — we use it for notices about your account. You confirm it with the link we email you; the game opens once it is confirmed.

3. Free months

• Every new account gets 2 free months of full access to X-Typer, starting the day you confirm your email address (with the link we email you when you sign up). Each account gets its free months once.
• We never ask for a card or payment details for the free months, nothing is charged, and nothing renews.
• Your account page shows the date your free months end, and we email you about a week before. After that date your access pauses; your account stays, and nothing is deleted.
• We may change or end this offer for new accounts at any time. Free months that have already started always run to their end date.

4. Paid passes

Paid passes to keep playing after the free months are on the way. Buying one will always be your choice: its price and terms will be shown clearly before you pay, and we'll update these terms before they go on sale.

5. Using the game

• X-Typer teaches English vocabulary and is suitable for students of all ages. Younger students should play with an adult nearby.
• Progress is saved in the browser on each device. Clearing the browser's data, or playing on another device or browser, starts fresh — we can't restore it, because we never receive it.
• You need a modern browser and an internet connection.
• We work hard to keep the game running, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may improve, change or remove features.
• If we ever close the service, we'll tell you at least 30 days before.

6. What's not allowed

• Copying, selling, sharing or publishing the game or its pictures, sounds, videos or word lists outside the game.
• Getting around the members area, making extra accounts for more free months, or disrupting the site.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.

7. Our content

The game and everything in it belong to us or to the people we license material from. Your account gives you a personal right to use the game while your access is active; it can't be transferred.

8. Responsibility

Nothing in these terms takes away your rights as a consumer under the law where you live, or limits our responsibility where the law doesn't allow that (for example for fraud, or for death or injury caused by negligence). Apart from that, we aren't responsible for indirect losses.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when the law or the game changes, and the date at the top shows the latest version. We email account holders before an important change takes effect.

10. Law and disputes

If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts. Please contact us first — most problems are solved quickly by email.
